I was given the opportunity by mommasreviews to review these Kymaro Glamour Eyes.

Glitz & Glam package includes 6 different sets of lashes and 2 tubes of eyelash adhesive.  The Glitz and Glam kit includes lots of sparkly lashes to add fun to any special occasion. These lashes are sure to fulfill your deepest diva needs and are just a fraction of the price if you were to buy them at a beauty store.

Just because you're a mom doesn't mean you can't look good. Because mothers are so busy taking care of kids, the home, getting groceries, and so forth we are so busy tend to not take the time we need for us.

To be completely honest, I have only tried one of these and it was the very first one. I tried it on Thanksgiving Day and everyone loved it.  I don't really have any glamor in my life (I'm going to start making some happen, it is the holidays after all), but I will definitely wear one on Christmas and another on New Years. Stay tune for more picture and video updates.

Love you all
God Bless!

Hair Goal Length for 2011!

I've been wrestling with the idea of growing my hair to waist length for some time now.  But since I but my my hair and decide to go natural I'm starting all over again. So now starting at at about 1 inch (I'm not counting my relax end). I'm hoping to be NL by Dec 2011. Reaching NL will be  a major accomplishment, but I will not be satisfy until I reach waist length stretch!!!

I'm not satisfied, lol. I want my hair longer, who wouldn't want that? So for 2011, I would like to reach mid back length, after that my long term goal for 2012 is waist length.

Will you join me in setting both short and long term hair goals?

Winter is here & so is my Shea Butter Mix

Shea butter provides natural ultraviolet sun protection and absorbs rapidly into the skin without leaving a greasy feeling. Shea Butter provides moisture to dry or damaged hair from the roots to the very tips, repairing and protecting against weather damage, dryness and brittleness.
Shea butter is my family and I best friend for winter time! I use it for pretty much anything : hair, hands, lips, knees, let’s just say whole body moisturizer. It is one of the thickest product you can find as it solidifies like butter. But when melted or in its liquid form, it gets easier to apply ! Now don’t be scared, the solid form only needs you to be warmed up in between your hands & it instantly melts lol
I got my Shea Butter from an African store close to me and they sell it very reasonable. You can find it online, if you don't have an Africa store by you. I also notice that the Asian beauty supply starts selling these, but I rather support the African, that's my opinion.
Now i want to know who is going to be your best friend for this winter?
How can Shea Butter benefit me? Shea Butter can provide relief from everything from just dry skin to many minor dermatological diseases (if you have a serious skin condition, you should see a doctor).  It has been clinically shown to provide benefits.  Here are some of the benefits of Shea Butter for the skin:
  • Daily skin moisturizer (face and body)
  • Dry skin relief
  • Dry scalp
  • Skin rash- including diaper rash
  • Skin peeling, after tanning
  • Blemishes and wrinkles
  • Itching skin due to dryness
  • Sunburn
  • Shaving cream to reduce razor irritation
  • Small skin wounds
  • Skin cracks
  • Soften tough skin on feet (especially heels)
  • Stretch mark prevention during pregnancy
  • Minor burns
  • Eczema
  • Sun and wind protection
  • Even skin tone
  • Reduce blemishes and scarring
  • Eliminating scalp irritation from dryness or chemical processing
  • Preventing bumps after shaving
  • Reducing acne (especially in combination with African Black Soap)
  • Absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue
  • Helps restore elasticity to skin
  • Restores luster to hair

WARNING!  The smell of this stuff is strong, but it does bother me. I usually whip it with some flavored essential oil.
